I learned how to do MLA formating when I was in high school and I knew how to do work cited but For books and movies not for online articles, web sites, and youtube videos. I was a new experience learning how to cite those right, it took a couple of tries to do it without looking at an example but I definitely still do look at the example. I think I’ve gotten the hang citing the paper as far as the example shows but as far as doing it the MLA format way I still need some work on it. In class we did a lot of going over MLA formating with The “Little Seagull” and “They say I say” which really help and I got more information on how to make my paper more presentable. I see my self using examples from the Little Seagull for future papers it’s definitely helped a lot and I’m starting to get better with the format but I still have room to improve and after working with the little seagull some more I’ll be able to put my paper in perfect MLA formatting without even knowing it. I think its a good thing to practice MLA formatting because I’ll most likely use it for my work one day and itll help to make papers look a little more professional.
