Learning outcome 4

At the beginning of the semester I wasn’t very good with peer review, I had done it before but even then i wasn’t good at it. I didn’t really know what to say or what to look for, plus trying to correct or make new suggestions on another peer’s paper knowing that mine obviously wasn’t gonna be any better it didn’t seem fair. As did a couple more peer reviews I started to understand why we did them and how much they helped. The peer reviews really helped my writing I get to see from someone else’s point of view of what could be reworded, or add a little extra to what im saying to give the readers a better sense of what im explaining. It’s helpful to get more then one persons opinion to get a good sense of what more you could do to make your paper more appealing to read and to make sure that everything flows the way it should and that you don’t repeat your self or any hidden run on sentences. I now know how to correctly peer review and will definitely be having peers review future papers to help make sure I’ve written my paper in the best way it can be written. I also thinking that people should get use to peer reviewing especially when some jobs usually require your work to get looked over to make sure everything is right and in order.
