At the beginning of the semester, I wrote essays like I was still in high school. The introduction, three body paragraphs and the conclusion, which in college is more like a book report. I also put way too much thought in while writing the paper instead of just writing everything that I was thinking at that moment and then going back in and fixing it. I’m not that great with writing and it took a bit to come up with more information to talk about. I have progressed over time and have gotten better with my writing thanks to my tutor Mary Spain and I’ve started referencing the TREAC paper to make sure everything is the way it should be put. Now that I’ve done my very last final English paper I feel a little more confident about my writing and just writing out what I want to say and then going back in and tweaking it to make sure it makes sense. In my free draft and final draft I think you’ll find the differences in how my writing has changed and progressed.
